Mentorship Program

In an effort to promote career advancement, CHSA coordinates a mentorship program that matches its members with senior congressional staff and other experienced Washington, D.C. professionals. Through the program, members will have the opportunity to build professional, one-on-one relationships that help them advance their careers on Capitol Hill and beyond. The official program lasts three to four months, and mentors and mentees will be expected to meet at least once a month during the program.

At this time, submissions for the mentorship program have been closed. Please look out for information regarding the program next spring.

CHSA Resume Bank

The Congressional Hispanic Staff Association (CHSA) is an official, non-partisan, bicameral Congressional Staff Organization, recognized by the Committee on House Administration, whose mission is to recruit, retain, and advance Hispanic staffers in the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives.

In order to advance Hispanic staffers in Congress, CHSA's Placement Committee runs a resume bank to prepare applicants for career opportunities on the Hill. To add your resume to the resume bank, please fill out this form: CHSA Resume Bank

This bank is intended for active CHSA members. To join CHSA, please visit our Membership section. For any additional questions, please contact Sara.Guerrero@mail.house.gov. If you are looking to fill a position in your office, please contact our CHSA President at Ivelisse.Porroa@mail.house.gov.
