CHSA Honors Latina Trailblazers and Congressional Staffers on International Women’s Day
WASHINGTON, D.C. - On International Women’s Day, the Congressional Hispanic Staff Association proudly celebrates the Latina leaders whose dedication, resilience, and commitment to public service continue to shape our communities and our country.Across Capitol Hill and beyond, Latina women are breaking barriers, driving progress, and ensuring that the voices of our communities are represented in the halls of power. From congressional staff and policy experts to advocates, organizers, and innovators, Latinas are helping shape the policies and ideas that move our nation forward.
Today, we are especially proud to recognize the incredible women serving on CHSA’s Board and throughout our organization. Their leadership, mentorship, and tireless work help strengthen our community, uplift Latina staffers, and create pathways for future generations of Latinas to pursue careers in public service.
We also honor the trailblazers who paved the way—women who fought for representation, equity, and opportunity so that more Latinas could have a seat at the table. Their legacy continues to inspire the work we do today.
As we celebrate International Women’s Day, CHSA reaffirms our commitment to supporting Latina leadership, expanding opportunity on Capitol Hill, and ensuring that the next generation of Latina leaders has the tools, support, and community they need to succeed.
When Latinas lead, our communities grow stronger, our institutions become more representative, and the future becomes brighter for everyone who follows.
