Thanks to our due paying members, CHSA launched the “Trail Blazers Luncheon.” Members of Congress or other nationally renowned leaders are invited to sit with our members during lunch and share their personal stories of how they got to the where they are at and give our members unique advice and words of encouragement. Previous trailblazer speakers include: Congresswoman Grace Napolitano, Congressman Raul Grijalva, Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Former U.S. Treasurer Ana Cabral, and many more.

- Networking in essential for our members, therefore CHSA has taken the lead on connecting people through a series of networking events, including Congressional receptions, receptions off the Hill. Networking events with fellow friends of CHSA, which include those on the private sector, Government agencies, non-profit organizations, and the administration. Our members are also presented with the opportunity to network at sporting events, cultural events, and with other Congressional staff associations.
